Since 2009, Lina Meier has been working together with graphic designer Sara Keranen-Gramner under the name “Studio Yra”. By combining product design and typography they create functional and visually compelling products with a sense of personality. The first product, “Vers Libre” has been sold all over the world to shops such as Liberty in London, MoMa in the US, I.T in Hong Kong and in the COS Stores throughout Europe. In October 2010 they had their first gallery exhibition named “Particles of Poetry” at the Design Gallery in Stockholm. The exhibition was inspired by Dadaism and especially the typography from that era and featured jewellery, products as well as screen prints and one-off art pieces. The “Corio” key rings in leather travelling around with the Poundshop this summer has been one of the best sellers since then.
