‘Thai Food Surreal’ is an interpretation of Thai food in different perceptions. Artist and designers use food, as a medium to communicate with the audience, the signature dishes from Suda is a subject for this artist collective to work with. Artists give food its interpretation as individual. Present it in different kind of visuals and disciplines.

An Experiment With Food Materials
A celebration of the lifecycle of food is at the core of this project. The project has been inspired by traditional Thai craft and Thai food.
Dhanyapat used all the materials and ingredients directly from SUDA’s kitchen, to create a new set of work according to SUDA’s signature dishes. Give a new aesthetic and pay homage to Thai food. Dhanyapat wills present a photograph collection of Thai food’s ingredients(the decipher of Thai food elements) and her new sample of fabric that the colours come from kitchen food waste. What the colour of the fabric that dyes with Tom Yum?

FLAT — 6 studio presents:
An Experiential Night of Thai Food Ice-cream

Flat 6 studio experiments with the creation of ice cream, decoding the essential ingredients of 5 famous menu from Suda Restaurant; PHAD THAI, TOM YUM GOONG, GUAYTIEW LUI SUAN, GAENG KIEW WAAN, SOM TUM, and SINGHA beer ice-cream.

The menus are communicated through collage works instead of explaining by words. This offers the new way of tasting imagination.

A small table is set for 10 people representing as dinner atmosphere. The Thai Food Surreal menus are served following the menu courses.

With the surreal taste, the conversation will start on this small dinning table.
